Nigel Ratwatte has been appointed as the captain of the Sri Lanka team named for tomorrow’s rugby match against Malaysia. The squad includes 23 players.
The team that wins tomorrow’s match will earn a place in the 2025 Asia Rugby Championship. The Sri Lankan team for the match has been selected by the National Rugby Selection Committee along with head coach Sanath Martis.
Several players who showcased outstanding performances during this year’s domestic rugby tournament have been included in the squad.
The match between Sri Lanka and Malaysia is scheduled to kick off at 4:00 PM tomorrow at the Racecourse Ground in Colombo.
