Swedish superstar Armand Duplantis claimed gold in the men’s pole vault at the 2026 European Athletics Championships, setting a new championship record in Birmingham, England.
Duplantis cleared an impressive 6.15 metres to secure the title and make it his fourth consecutive European Championship gold medal in the event.
Greece’s Emmanouil Karalis took the silver medal after clearing 6.00 metres, while France’s Baptiste Thiery secured bronze.
