Royal Challengers Bengaluru booked their place in the final of the Indian Premier League after crushing Gujarat Titans by 92 runs in Qualifier 1 played in Dharamshala.
Batting first, RCB piled up a massive 254 for 5 in their 20 overs. Captain Rajat Patidar produced a sensational unbeaten knock of 93 runs off just 33 balls, smashing five fours and nine sixes in a breathtaking innings.
Virat Kohli and Krunal Pandya also chipped in with 43 runs each to power Bengaluru to one of the highest totals of the season.
For Gujarat, Kagiso Rabada and Jason Holder claimed two wickets apiece.
In reply, Gujarat Titans collapsed for 162 in 19.3 overs despite a fighting 68 from Rahul Tewatia. Jos Buttler added 29 runs, but the chase never truly gained momentum.
RCB’s bowling attack dominated through Jacob Duffy, who picked up three wickets, while Bhuvneshwar Kumar, Rasikh Salam, and Krunal Pandya grabbed two wickets each.
With the emphatic victory, Royal Challengers Bengaluru advanced directly to the IPL 2026 final.
Meanwhile, Gujarat Titans still have another chance to reach the final as they move into Qualifier 2.
Tonight’s Eliminator between Rajasthan Royals and Sunrisers Hyderabad will decide who faces Gujarat in the second qualifier, while the losing side will be eliminated from the tournament.
